In the 2nd game of our twi-night double header... Rejects fall behind Magicians early and fail to raise their magic bats of the 1st game. Also, some weak defensive play indicates too many adult beverages may have been consumed between games. Rejects finally score their only 3 runs in the top of the 5th. Magicians answer in the bottom of the 5th causing the slaughter rule. FWiW... Three Purple Stars are earned... Pat goes 2 for 2 showing off his speed (4 for 4 for the night earning himself the Rejects first ever Double Purple Star), Wilbur goes 1 for 1 with a walk and run scored, Ellen makes the most of her one-at-bat going 1 for 1.
